We are holding a Swishing event on the 19th March. A Swishing event I hear you say, "whats that".
As members of APDO the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers, Me Lou and Sue are doing something for charity as part of National Spring CLearing Week.
We remove lots of clothes in the line of duty and take them to various charity shops so this is something we feel quite strongly about.
So much is like new or still with the labels on!
As such a Swishing or Clothes Swapping event sounded like the ideal way to offer our time to a good cause and to help the community come together. So get yourselves to The Plough at Euxton - PR7 6HB from 9.30am on the 19th March. Refreshments available.
****Come and join us at our Ladies clothes Swish Event.****
RECYCLE REUSE & SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT
Do you have items of clothing and/or shoes you no longer like, dont fit or have actually never worn? Why not swap them for something you could use.
We give you a token for every acceptable item you donate and at 10.30am the Swish opens. You can then look through the rails and swap a token for a "new to you" article of clothing.
Should you want more items than you have tokens for you will be able to make an additional donation to Mind and take those too.
Please make sure the items you bring to swap are in a condition that you would be happy to receive them in. They must not be stained, in need of repair, bobbly or faded.
All remaining items at the end of the swish will be donated to a Mind Charity Shop so you must be happy to donate the items should they remain at the end of the event.
We take no responsibility for items swapped and give no warranty. You must take all reasonable measures to check the suitability of any item before you leave.
Pay on the door by a donation of your choice. All proceeds go Mind the charity.
Any queries please call Lou on 07873 903774 or Marie on 07719 148289
Clothes can be dropped off before the event if required or if you would like to donate but cannot attend.
