They are often the last place to be sorted but if done early in your decluttering process the garage can become a brilliant storage area.

There are many cheap shelving units, crates, wall hooks etc. that can make the garage really useful as overflow storage for items such as toys, tools, cleaning products, bottles, pet food, suitcases etc. if space is a premium in the home.
