The Process.

  • We start with a chat, usually on the phone.
  • Then I visit you for an assessment or to start our journey.

    Disclaimer.

All advice and guidance is given in good faith. My T & C's are available here and new clients will be asked to sign these prior to our first session.

My GDPR policy is available to read here.

    Pricing.

I begin with a consultation, usually at your premises but this can be done via Skype, Zoom or FaceTime or over the phone.

A consultation home visit will typically last between 30-45 minutes. The cost for this is £20.

My hourly rate is available on request and a session is usually 3-4 hours long but this of course depends on your requirements and will be assessed at the initial consultation.

I require 50% payment in advance before the first visit.

Payment can be made by BACS transfer, cash or through PayPal. I do take a cheque if necessary.

I am a registered supplier for LCC (Lancashire County Council)

     FAQs.

Please find below answers to common questions...

    • Can you come in the evening or at weekend as I work?

I am flexible but do not normally work beyond 6pm or at  weekend unless it is unavoidable.  Sometimes a house move needs to be actioned on the weekend for example or you have no leave left from work.

    • Do I need to be there when you are organising in my home?

You need to be present while we are going through things but once we have decluttered I can be left to put away if necessary.

    • Will I have to throw away things I am not sure about?

No. I never make you part with anything but I get you to question the need and to consider things in a different way.

    • I am embarrassed about my home. It will be the worse you have ever seen.

I hear this all the time and can assure you it will not shock me. I am here to help not to judge.

    • Do you take items away for me that I wish to donate to charity or the food bank?

Yes I am happy and actually prefer to take them to charity for you if they will fit in my car.

    • What about things for the tip?

I have a waste carriers licence and will take things that will not damage or make my vehicle dirty.

    • I have decluttered before but then I slipped back to square one. Can you ensure this won't happen again?

I hear this a lot and I will give you a different perspective, strategies and ways to break the old habits. You have to want to succeed however so there are no guarantees.

    • Do I buy storage solutions or any other equipment before your visit

No please don't as we need to consider the best methods together. I will have bags and boxes to use during the process.

    • Will it be confidential?

Yes I have no livery on my car nor do I wear my branded clothing in case you wish to keep my visit to yourself. I am bound by APDO's code of ethics and can show you a copy on arrival. Please call or email me with any further questions.
